this way the right joystick movement will not conflict with the cursor movement of the modern app.ģ) change any other buttons like RT to 'Virtual Keyboard Select' to avoid the pesky A button. to solve this issue:ġ) in the Setting and under the 'Profile' tab, click on 'Edit Virtual Keyboard Binding'Ģ) change the Right joystick movement to 'Virtual Keyboard Select'. because when you move to select a letter from that Spiral Keyboard, the cursor may move with it. Using the Spiral keyboard in modern App, may cause an issue of having the cursor jumping all over the place. and you may want to avoid A, B, X, Y, RB & LB as mouse clicks, because some apps use those buttons for some additional controls. the 'Application Frame Host' profile sometimes fail for no good reason (not always but few number of times).

WHICH MEANS, when you run a modern app, the CC will apply the profile setting for 'Application Frame Host' UNLESS you have a profile for THAT one particular modern app, of which the CC will choose to follow that specific profile. and if you wish to have some customized controls for different modern apps, you can add more new profiles for individual apps like 'Mail' and 'Films&TV' later. The changes you make in the Application Frame Host's profile, should take effect in almost all windows modern apps. right mouse click on the newly created icon (as in step 3) and then press Edit and then continue as in step 4 and 5. when you add a new profile in step one, you may notice an app called 'Application Frame Host'. There is a more general approach to this issue. and change the R button to left mouse click. right click on the newly created icon, and select 'Edit'Ĥ) change the right stick controls to mouse movement. and then Add Recent Process.Ģ) some modern apps come in different names, for example, the 'Mail' app comes under 'Microsoft Outlook Mail', the 'Films&TV' app under 'Video Application' etc.ģ) once you select the app in question, an icon will be created under the Profile tab. then go to CC settings, go to the Profile Tab, press the 'Add New Profile' or the "+" icon. it's a temporary fix while we send our complaints to Microsoft to have that feature disabled.ġ) open a modern app, let's say 'Mail'.

The best solution i figured so far, is by assigning a new profile for Windows modern apps and changing the mouse control to the right joystick control.
